What an epic journey! And what a treat to be along vicariously through your blog. Your spirit, love of life and people, and keen eyes for the world and wonders around you were all so beautifully conveyed in what you chose to share. We (Sheldon, Malka, and I) are honored to have crossed paths with you in Nukus, Uzbekistan. What a fortuitous dinner we had. We look forward to reconnecting in the UK during our tenure there this spring/summer.

Seriously a book guys - next project. You have a way with words. I felt I was on the journey for the 9 months and today I felt a real personal sad moment......I even shed a little tear..I know, I know. I also had a great laugh and copied point 10 into my Instagram message notebook....loved the sentiment.

So good to have you home..... you must enjoy the weather, the local charm of Scotland and take the time to recap and masticate (poor choice of word??) on your trip and then the book.................all over a glass of Coole Swan (I could not leave that out now could I??)

Any chance you guys could make it to Ireland now - overnight visit? we can make it as rustic or indeed as luxurious as you like....you could even cycle here....just saying

love to you both and thank you for feeding my everyday with adventure, bringing courage to the humdrum and sunshine to the grey w...... and being the best story I have ever told and sometimes as if it were my own....love and kisses Mary, Philip, Ruth. Laura and Katie B........

We feel very fortunate that you happened to walk into that Turkish cafe in Nukus last June-giving us a chance to glimpse vicariously the incredible roads you’ve rolled down as we’ve followed your exploits.

I hope you will keep writing - I’d read the book. I’ve so looked forward to your updates. Hope to see you in UK down the road.
